Dr.V.Dharmalingam B.S.M (Siddha), D.C.M(Varma),D.Sc is an outstanding Varma Physician and a man of vision. He hails from a traditional Siddha & Varma medical practitioners family from Kanyakumari Dt, Tamilnadu. My forefathers were physicians for the royal family of Travancore, Cochin.
A direct descendent of this great liner , Dr.V. Dharmalingam is the 14th generation promoter of Indian medicine.
Dr.V.Dharmalingam studied the Siddha system institutionally and Varma System from his father. He comprehends his father adapt ways of using Indigenous health care system with and admirable ease and miraculous results. He was already a competent assistant to his father by the time he completed his studies. He gained his highly principled father ‘s confidence and started treating patients under his guidance.
Dr.V. Dharmalingam moved to chennai and established a clinic in 1998. He was instrumental in establishing the Varma department at the Arignar Anna hospital Chennai. He is a personal Physician for many leading personalities in India and abroad. He travels to various countries to treat patients with chronic ailments.
Dr.V.Dharmalingam is promoting the growth and development of Indian Medicine for evolving high standards of teaching, training and patient care and also helps in the scientific outlook of Indian Medicine.

The Research Foundation employs tribal people there by improving their quality of life.
